The OSPI Inclusionary Practices Program and Special Needs Project have Merged… WEA IPTN brings together a wealth of expertise to advance inclusive education practices. Leveraging the existing infrastructure of the Special Education Support Center website, we serve as a centralized platform for resources, professional development opportunities, and support for all stakeholders invested in inclusive education.
Our Commitment to Inclusionary Practices
The Special Education Support Center is a member of OSPI’s Inclusionary Practices Technical Assistance Network — composed of state-sponsored Technical Assistance providers from across Washington state. We focus on family and student experiences to showcase the lived impact of meaningful inclusion beyond what traditional methods of data reporting can accomplish alone.
Normal Isn’t Real
Join WEA IPTN for a free virtual screening of Normal Isn’t Real: Succeeding with Learning Disabilities & ADHD. The film about four young adults with LD and ADHD issues is 72 minutes long. After the screening, we look forward to a lively discussion with our Panel.
We will be offering this screening via Zoom on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
