Online Courses

The Special Education Support Center (SESC) offers:

  • Synchronous (real time) classes, hosted via Zoom, where participants gain understanding of effective instructional strategies.
  • Asynchronous classes, hosted on Canvas, with activities outlined in a specified time frame that includes classroom application and assessments of learning outcomes.
  • Modules – self-paced learning experiences — designed as a follow-up to in-person workshops — to build knowledge and skills focused on one research-based teaching practice.

You also have the option of requesting a training tailored to the specific needs of your school, district, or organization.

Intelligent Lives: An Inclusionary Practices Journey – watch the Intelligent Lives documentary in segments, participate in discussions and reflections, and explore connections to educational practices that support the inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities.
