Tiffany Tolentino
Position:
Tiffany Tolentino has served students, families, and
educational staff for more than 30 years. She holds a
Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s degree
in Special Education from the University of Illinois, with a
strong emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2019,
she completed the Certification Program for
Administrators at Gonzaga University.
Mrs. Tolentino has served the Sumner School District for
the past decade as a Behavior Specialist, District Trainer,
and Right Response Coordinator. Her professional
accomplishments include collaborating with district
leadership teams to implement a Multi-Tiered System of
Supports (MTSS), developing district-wide data collection
systems, designing an educational manual for the
district’s self-contained behavior program, and creating
and leading district-wide professional development
focused on supporting students with challenging behaviors.
An active member of the educational community, Mrs. Tolentino is involved with organizations
such as the Equity for Education Coalition and initiatives focused on eliminating the
school-to-prison pipeline. She is deeply committed to equitable, evidence-based practices and
believes strongly in the “I do, we do, you do” model of instruction—never asking others to do
what she is not willing and able to demonstrate herself.
