Training for Parents & Teachers

- The Special Education Support Center wishes to announce the availability of FREE training to improve special education in Washington schools.
Classes are designed to meet the needs of both families and educators. The project provides training on the following topics: Special Education Law & Section 504, Individual Education Programs (IEPs), Behavior Interventions and Discipline, Meeting the Needs of All Students: Effective Instruction and Accommodations, Autism Awareness for General Educators, Brain Research, Response to Intervention o Transition Classes ranging from 6-10 hours can be scheduled to meet the needs of any group, including weekends and evenings o arrangements can be made for no or low cost To schedule training for your schools or organization, contact: Janie Moxley, Administrative Assistant 253-765-7074 or 800-622-3393 X 7074 jmoxley@washingtonea.org Click the link below to download a copy of this announcement.
