2017 Special Education Boot Camp

This four-day conference provides a comprehensive focus on special education issues for the benefit of anyone who works with children with disabilities. View this year’s course offerings. The training, presented by the WEA Special Education Cadre, is open to all school employees, parents, administrators, and representatives from community agencies. Registration is full for this year’s Boot Camp.
All SESC boot camp participants take Special Education Law on Monday and select up to three additional courses offered Tuesday thru Thursday. Training materials are given to participants on a thumb drive. It is required that all participants bring an electronic device with a USB port to view and use training materials.
The registration fee of $270 includes training materials, 24 clock hours, morning refreshments and lunch each day. Parents are welcome to register for this conference. To encourage parent participatio, WEA scholarships.
Registration deadline is Friday July 1, or until boot camp is full. Register early to secure your preferred class selections. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Alternate classes may be assigned based on seat availability.
